It is hand carved from mahogany, and then painted in a combination of 3 Farrow & Ball colours: Old White, Bone, and Ball Green (shades of stony French grey), and finally it is gently distressed to give an aged patina. The headboard frame is finished in a lightly distressed pale stone colour, with natural rattan inserts. We love the cabriole legs adorned with acanthus leaves, and the hand-carvings on the crest of the headboard and on the footend.
